We went to the directors. We sat with the producers. We had very convincing conversations with some very expensive people —

all so they'd name the hero Joe.

We wanted you to see yourself up there. On the big screen. In the hat. With the guns. We thought maybe — just maybe — if you saw it enough times, something would click.

A little inspiration. A little motivation. A little... charisma by association.

It was an investment, Joe. In you.
